44 days to go.

We’re so excited!

Our Gala Benefit Fundraiser for Blue Star Equiculture is going to be at the famous Rosie O’Grady’s, in their private Manhattan Club.  Rosie O’Grady’s is conveniently located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, between Times Square and Central Park South, not far from where the carriage horses live on the West Side.

This year’s event will be four hours, from 7:30 – 11:30 pm on Saturday, March 23, and will be a cocktail reception featuring heavy hors-d’oeuvres, cheese and antipasti, and an open bar.

Tickets are $150 per person.  ($75 of the ticket price is tax deductible as a donation to Blue Star Equiculture.)

I would post the awesome menu here again, but it’s making me very, very hungry.  Instead, check it out on our Gala Benefit page.

Tickets will be available for sale very soon.  Check back often on our “News” section for the latest updates on ClipClopNYC 2013!

Last year's Gala Benefit at the Ritz Carlton raised over $5000 for Blue Star Equiculture and their mission to help horses, humans and Mother Earth. This year we're expecting yet another great time for a great cause.

West Side Livery joins ClipClopNYC 2013

February 5th, 2013

45 days until the big weekend!

We promised an even bigger and better ClipClopNYC for 2013 – and you’re going to get it!

This year, not only will all of you ClipCloppers get to again tour Clinton Park Stables, but you’ll also get to tour the second largest carriage stable in New York – West Side Livery on 38th St.

Duddy, Bob and Flash, looking forward to ClipClopNYC visitors on March 23.

The stable tours will begin at 9:30 am on March 23 at Clinton Park Stables on 52nd St. with registration and a tour.  Then all registered ClipClopNYC participants will take buses to West Side Livery for a tour there.  Then we’ll all

go back to 52nd St. for lunch.

West Side Livery’s historic building has been housing horses since the 1860s.  During our tour, you’ll get to see how the building still serves its more than 30 equine residents with updates such as airy box stalls and a brand new sprinkler system.

Be sure to check back here on our “News” section and on our Stable Tours and Lunch page for the stable tour schedule and registration information.

Stable Tour at Clinton Park Stables

February 4th, 2013

46 days to ClipClop!

ClipClopNYC is all about getting to know the NYC carriage horses and the people who care for them… and you can’t do that unless you get to go behind-the-scenes, away from the grand stage that is Central Park South, and meet the carriage horses at home where they live.

ClipClopNYC 2013 again features an open house and stable tour on March 23 at Clinton Park Stables on W. 52nd. Street.

Clinton Park Stables was opened in 2003 by a consortium of carriage owners.  The facility now houses more than half of NYC’s famous carriage horses.  Come tour this stable and see what it takes to keep 75 horses in Manhattan.

Please visit our Stable Tours and Lunch page for the full schedule of stable tours, to include both Clinton Park Stables and West Side Livery.

Registration for this FREE event will soon be available on the website. Check back often for the latest!
